- Ashby School is a mixed comprehensive school for students aged 14 to 19.
- In 2009, Ofsted rated Ashby School as a good school with outstanding features.
- GCSE examination results are consistently high and, in recent years, the school has been among the top performing state schools in Leicestershire.
